Our 1st ESO students recorded interviews with some of the thousands of tourists that arrive every day at El Prat airport. It was before Christmas and when we came back to school after the holidays.
They were from the Txeck Republic, Mexico, the USA, England, Denmark, Holland, Poland, Germany, Australia, Italy, Portugal, China, Israel, El Salvador, Russia, Canada … From many countries around the world. And the English language was, once again, our global language of communication.
What were their jobs? Why did they visit Catalonia? Who were they travelling with? What were their plans? What are the world problems that most worry them? The students asked all this and more. Despite the fact that they had just landed and were in a hurry, most of them were really kind. That was a good job! We thank them for their time and wish them a happy year.
