VII Exchange Udens’ College – Institut Bellvitge
For the 7th year, a group of 21 students from our school travelled to Uden, in Holland, last March, to take part in an exchange program organized by both schools. The Dutch families gave them a warm welcome and made wonderful hosts.
The one-week program of activities included a visit to Amsterdam and Flevoland, the new land won over to the sea, what makes the Netherlands a unique country in the world.
In Amsterdam, the Bellvitge students together with their Dutch partners enjoyed a especial guided tour to the Rijksmuseum and to the Palace at the Dam. They also did school presentations on cultural differences between the Dutch and the Catalans, they experienced daily life in a special, non-typical farm or wandered around the old fishing town of Enkhuizen.
As usual, the experience of the exchange was deeply rewarding for everyone involved, and good memories will last a long time.
